September 26, 2023 is a day for the history books as the first and only women-led (not women only!) angel investment syndicate, AwakenAngels, will hear from three amazing women founders based on the island of Ireland looking to raise pre-seed investment.

An abmissal 2% of funding globally goes to women founders. That’s not a typo. Tech Ireland Startup Funding Review (Sept 2023) highlighted that funding into women founded tech businesses dropped from 114m euro to 66m euro based on same period in 2023 v 2022. It also included figures for those securing funding in general dropped by 40%.
AwakenAngels in on a mission to change that statistic starting with women founders resident on the island of Ireland. Syndicate members however do not have to be based in Ireland. You may want to diversify your portfolio, have someone else take care of curated deal flow, have access to a closed community of investors, want to control where your investment goes or want to start from scratch with wraparound supports to give you the knowledge, connectivity and access to do so at an affordable price.
The event is happening online to allow for our existing AwakenAngel syndicate and those who want to know more to join us from Ireland, the UK, the USA, Singapore and beyond.
